This is not a score to a film that famously doesn't have one.
This is an album of music inspired by the landscapes, characters and story of the book and the motion picture, No Country For Old Men.

In the desert heat, events unfold in slow motion. A day has moods, many of them sour. Every tale has hidden corners, if you listen intently. Glance around yourself, and you will see three different kinds of weather out in the vastness between the horizon and where you are stood.

Four tracks. Three about the main characters, one about the landscape.

Download includes 9 page booklet of original photography shot on film in south west Texas, and a select few of Cormac McCarthy's words from the novel.

Maybe contrary to the artist's intention I do not find "relief" in this album. The claustrophobic atmosphere, the dense mix and the feeling of waiting for an asteroid incoming in slow motion however make more than up for it. A wonderful album!! DJ SpaceTerrapin
